Berlin (pronounced "BURR-lin") is a town in southern Hartford County. He is bordered by Southington, New Britain, Newington, Meriden, Rocky Hill, Cromwell, and Middletown. The pronunciation of Berlin used to fall on the 2nd syllable like the German city but it was changed around WW1 due to obvious anti-German sentiment.

Appearance

Berlin wears a teal 18th century "Yankee Peddler" outfit inspired by the town seal. He has long, curly hair to match.

Personality

Berlin is a tinware peddler who loves minigolf and go-karts. In fact, he loves them so much that he has two separately-owned minigolf and go-kart places right next to each other. Berlin, being the solicitor he is, is a red town and his best friends, Southington and Plainville, are also fellow Republicans, all having voted for Trump in 2016, 2020, and 2024. Despite being somewhat shallow and insular, Berlin is considered fun, hostly, and especially laid back. During the pandemic, he hardly enforced any mask mandates.

Communities

There are 2 main settlements in Berlin: Kensington and East Berlin. Kensington is essentially the town's "capital" since it is where Berlin's town hall is located. East Berlin is just, kinda there.
